Our
Story
Potherhood is the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced — and also the most demanding. When children are little, you naturally give more of yourself. You sacrifice sleep, spontaneity, and sometimes even parts of your former identity. And you do it gladly, because you love them.
But holidays should not feel like another sacrifice.
For me, travel has always been a way to recharge. To gain energy. To reconnect — not only with a destination, but with myself and my family. And yet I’ve seen so many families return from a holiday more exhausted than when they left.
I refuse to accept that as inevitable.
Comfort, when traveling with children, is not indulgence. It is a strategy. It is what allows you to truly rest. It is what creates space for connection instead of friction.
I have never believed in staying inside one all-inclusive resort without exploring. Even with children, I want to discover cities, experience culture, walk through new neighborhoods and show my children the world the same way we did before they were born.
A calm holiday, to me, begins with space. A serene breakfast with plenty of healthy (and less healthy ;) ) food options. A hotel that never feels crowded. Rooms large enough to breathe. Service that makes things easier rather than more complicated. A morning swim, a gym session, a beach day, or a cultural outing — balanced and intentional.
When I book a hotel, I don’t start with the price. I start with the room size, I think about where my child will sleep. I read reviews about noise. I look at the breakfast experience. I want to know whether it will feel calm. Facilities for children are a plus — but they are never the only factor.
Because luxury, for me, is not excess.
It is space.
It is calm.
It is thoughtful comfort that allows our family to return home recharged — not depleted.
And that is what Elevated Family Travel is about.
